Magnolia, Texas (Montgomery County Monitor) - At approximately 3:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon, a one car motor vehicle accident seriously injured a teen-aged male. The incident occurred on Tamina Road near Ponderosa Drive.
Two men working on a nearby fence heard the accident and rushed to the scene. Once on-scene, the two witnesses described the driver as unconscious and he appeared to have facial injuries.

Vehicle tracks clearly show the car left the road approximately 75 yards from its final resting location. Once the vehicle left the road, it crossed the ditch and became airborne when it hit an adjacent street.

While the vehicle was in the air, it hit a pine tree hard enough to knock the top out of the tree and tear off several feet of bark. Still airborne, the vehicle partially cleared another smaller tree and hit the ground before making contact with a commercial structure. The vehicle bounced off the structure and came to rest approximately 20-30 feet away.

Medical crews soon arrived on-scene and described the patient's condition as urgent. A request for air transport was denied due to poor weather conditions.

The patient, Kyle Sullivan, 17, was transported downtown by ground to Memorial Hermann Hospital.

The patient's current condition is unknown.

No one inside the building was injured.
