Published by Foz on 8/3/2008
The Woodlands, Texas (Montgomery County Monitor) - Just before 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning, a deputy sheriff reported a fire at Forestgate Park just off of Woodlands Parkway.

The Woodlands Fire Department responded to the scene and quickly extinguished the fire.

The fire caused extensive damage to one of the larger playground systems in the park.

On-line research of other similar playground systems indicate the damage could easily amount to thousands of dollars.
