Magnolia Fire Department Responds to Two-Alarm Fire
Montgomery County Monitor (Montgomery County, TX) - Today at approximately 1:15 p.m., Magnolia Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire on FM 2978 near Tamina Road. Even before the initial units reached the scene the fire was upgraded to a second alarm due to a column of thick black smoke that could be seen miles away.

Initial units on scene reported several vehicles on fire. In addition, what appeared to be an administrative type structure was fully involved along with a separate manufacturing facility which included a large tumble dryer.

The second alarm brought in firefighters from Needham Fire Department and The Woodlands Fire Department.

The situation was declared under control at approximately 1:45 p.m.

Both structures were heavily damaged.

No injuries were reported.

Montgomery County Fire Marshals were on site investigating the scene.
