2-Alarm Fire Destroys Magnolia Home
Montgomery County Monitor (Montgomery County, TX) - Thursday night at approximately 11:55 p.m. firefighters from Magnolia Fire Department were dispatched to a residential fire on Ascot Farms Road. Soon after the first units arrived on scene a second alarm was pulled. The second alarm brought in more units from Magnolia as well as a unit from Tomball.

First calls from witnesses on scene indicated that the structure was fully involved. Callers reported that windows were blown out and the roof of the structure had already collapsed.

Once on scene, firefighters went defensive and did not attempt to enter the structure.

Due to the scarcity of fire hydrants in the area a temporary reservoir was erected to hold water. Water from the reservoir was then used to help extinguish the fire.

The scene was declared under control at approximately 12:45 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
