District 1 - Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)
On 09/30/08 Deputy Rodriguez was dispatched to the 14,000 block of Ponderosa Circle, in reference to the recovery of a Missing Person - Juvenile. On arrival, a sixteen year old male was located and identified. This juvenile was taken into custody and transported to Juvenile Detention by order of a "Notice to Apprehend" warrant for Violation of Probation from a previous Aggravated Assault case. Disposition is pending.
On 9/30/08 Sergeant Rogers arrested a 31 year old male who had previously requested transport to the hospital by E.M.S. While en-route to the hospital, the individual instructed E.M.S. personnel to stop and let him out, which they did. This individual was found to be extremely intoxicated at the time. Sergeant Rogers, observed this individual on the side of the road and for the individual's safety, transported him to the jail and his ride was not interrupted by any further request.
On 10/01/08 Deputy Lawless was dispatched to the 13,000 block of Royal Lake Drive, in Conroe, in reference to a disturbance. A 38 year old male was arrested and charged with Terroristic Threat - Family Violence; after he reportedly had threatened to assault family members with a baseball bat and a gun. Disposition is pending.
On 10/02/08 Deputy Lawless arrested a 43 year old male at 3,600 Woodpecker Grove, in Cleveland, where he had been previously dispatched, in reference to a family disturbance. The male reportedly had arrived home from a bar, intoxicated and assaulted family members. Disposition is pending.
On 10/04/08 Deputy Salazar was dispatched to the 10,000 block of Settlers Crossing, in Conroe, in reference to a vehicle noise disturbance. On arrival Deputy Salazar located the suspect vehicle and two occupants. A seventeen and an eighteen year old male were both arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Minor in Possession of Alcoholic Beverage.
District 2 - Lt. Andy Eason (South County)
On 09/30/08 at approximately 2058 hours, Dep. McCoy was dispatched to the Glen Eagles subdivision in reference to subjects committing criminal mischief. Upon arrival in the area Dep. McCoy spotted two male subjects in the Glen Eagles Park area. The subjects approached Dep. McCoy before he exited his vehicle. Dep. McCoy noticed one individual to have his hands balled up into fists. When asked to what was in his hands, he replied "nothing." He continued to approach the officer and when asked to show what was in his hands did not reply. At that time he was placed in hand restraints for safety purposes and at that time opened his hands to show a small colored smoking pipe and a small bag of marijuana. The subject WM19, was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Marijuana and received a citation for drug paraphernalia.
On 10/03/08 at approximately 0029 hours, Dep. Beasley was dispatched to the 16800 block of Ih-45 in reference to a possible accident/reckless driver. Upon arrival at the scene, Dep. Beasley met with the driver WM23, and immediately detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. The driver was asked to exit the vehicle, where it was observed that he had poor balance and blood shot eyes. The driver seemed confused and had difficulty answering simple questions. When asked how much he had to drink, the driver stated several beers and shots at a local bar. Due to his intoxicated state, the driver was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On 10/03/08 at approximately 1648 hours, Dep. Fruge while responding to an Attempt to Locate call on a vehicle, observed the driver of the vehicle traveling northbound on FM 2978 and swerving in the lane. He initiated a traffic stop at that time. Dep. Fruge observed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. He also observed an open beer in the passenger seat. In speaking with the driver, WF44, he noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage as she spoke, her eyes were glassy and her speech was slurred. Upon exiting the vehicle the driver was unsteady on her feet. After completing the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, the driver was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On 10/05/08 at approximately 0115 hours, Dep. Christensen was dispatched to a disturbance on Sawdust Road. Upon arrival Dep. Christensen met with the subject, WM25, who had caused a disturbance inside a local sports bar and was asked to leave by Cpl. Gonzales. The subject was observed to have a strong smell of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath and person, and red, watery eyes and an unsteady balance. Due to the fact that he had already tried to leave on his own in his vehicle, being a danger to himself and others, the subject was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. Upon arrival at the jail his property was inventoried and two small black plastic bags containing a white powdery substance were recovered. The substance tested positive for cocaine, and an additional charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance was added.

District 3 - Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)
On September 29, Deputy C. Evans was sent to the 22700 block of E. Oakley Drive in reference to a motor vehicle accident and possible intoxicated driver. On arrival the Deputy located a male standing near a vehicle that had crashed into a gate and fence. The male was found to be intoxicated and was detained. The 60 year old male from Alabama was arrested at 3:20am and charged with DWI. The male was taken to jail. While in route to jail the male threatened the Deputy and was additionally charged with retaliation.
On September 29, Corporal D. Miller was notified of a theft at the Porter Wal-Mart. The Deputy met with the loss prevention officer who was detaining a female for shop lifting. The female attempted to take $67.71 worth of merchandise before being apprehended. The 25 year old female from Porter was arrested at 11:30am and transported to jail.
On September 30, Deputy J. Walker was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart in reference to a theft. The Deputy met with the store manager who was detaining a female for shop lifting. The female had attempted to leave the store with $111.71 worth of merchandise without paying. The female was also intoxicated. The 25 year old female from Cleveland was arrested at 10:45pm and transported to jail.
On September 30, Deputies J. Chapa and J. Bruce responded to the Porter Wal-Mart for a forgery in progress call. The Deputies arrived and met with Deputy C. Turrentine who was attempting to arrest a female who was resisting. The female was taken under control and detained. A second female was also taken into custody. The females were attempting to pay for merchandise with a forged check. The females, ages 21 and 35, from Houston were arrested at 10:50pm and transported to jail.
On October 1, Deputy J. Chapa was sent to the 24100 block of Glory Avenue for a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she and her husband got into a verbal argument when he grabbed her by the arm and started dragging her toward the house. He then grabbed her by the throat and picked her up off her feet as he attempted to drag her up the stairs. He then punched her on the face with a closed fist. The Deputy observed several injuries to the female complainant. The 31 year old male from Porter was arrested and transported to jail.
On October 2, Deputy J. Walker, while patrolling in the area of Loop 494 and Ford Road, observed an intoxicated female in the parking lot near a club. The 35 year old female from Splendora was arrested at 2:15am and transported to jail.
On October 3, Deputy G. Harman was notified of a family violence assault call in the 17400 block of Denise Drive. The Deputy met with a male complainant who was holding his son on the ground. The younger male had come home intoxicated and struck his father on the side of the head with a closed fist. The suspect male after being taken to the ground bit his father on the arm. The 17 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:57pm and transported to jail.
On October 4, Deputy C. Evans responded to the 20400 block of Ravenwood Drive in reference to a family violence assault call. On arrival the Deputy was confronted by a male matching the description of the male causing the disturbance. The male appeared to be highly intoxicated. The male resisted arrest and attempted to burn the Deputy with a cigar. The struggle continued and the male was finally taken into custody after the deployment of an intermediate weapon. The 28 year old male from Porter was arrested at 1:04am and transported to jail.
On October 4, Deputy R. Ashmore was dispatched to the 24000 block of Loop 494 in reference to a fight in a bar. On arrival the Deputy was advised by witnesses as to who was involved. A 26 year old male from Porter was arrested at 1:20am, charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct, and taken to jail.
On October 4, Deputy C. Murray was sent to the area of Hwy 59 and Community Drive in reference to a welfare concern. The Deputy located a male and female passed out in a vehicle. Both were intoxicated. The 31 year old male from Splendora and 29 year old female from New Caney were arrested at 2:30am and transported to jail.
On October 4, Deputy S. Ortiz was notified of a family violence assault call in the 10700 block of Burkett Lane. The Deputy located a male and female on the roadway. The female had blood on her neck and advised her boyfriend punched on the face twice after accusing her of cheating on him. The 24 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 8:07pm and transported to jail.
On October 4, Deputy G. Harman responded to the 22400 block of Ford Road in reference to a female seen crawling down the main lanes of the roadway. The Deputy located the female sleeping in the ditch. The 32 year old female from Porter was arrested at 9:30pm and transported to jail.
On October 4, Deputy C. Evans was dispatched to the 19200 block of Old Houston Road in reference to a disturbance in progress. Several patrons at the establishment pointed out a male that was causing the disturbance and attempting to fight. The male was found to be intoxicated. The 22 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 10:54pm and transported to jail.
On October 5, Deputy J. Walker was sent to the 19200 block of Meadow Lane in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she had been out at a bar and when she got home, her father, who was intoxicated, got upset with her. They got into a verbal argument and he threw one of his crutches at her striking her on the left side of her head. The 60 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 3:00am and transported to jail.
On October 5, Deputy C. Murray responded to the 22600 block of Cactus Drive in reference to a disturbance. The Deputy located an intoxicated male who had been yelling and cursing in the yard and throwing things. The 28 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 3:30am and transported to jail.
On October 5, Deputy C. Azwell was advised by dispatch on an attempt to locate a possible intoxicated driver in the area of Hwy 59 and Community Drive. The Deputy located the vehicle and observed it being driven erratically in a construction area. The Deputy was able to stop the vehicle and remove the male driver. The 55 year old male from Shepherd was arrested at 9:10am, charged with DWI 3rd or more, and taken to jail.
On October 5, Deputies J. Parker and A. Cross were notified of a welfare concern in the 22300 block of Kidd Cemetery Road. The Deputies arrived and met with a reportee who had found a lost child. The Deputies attempted to locate the parents of the 3 year old by going door to door. Deputy Parker located an intoxicated female at a house and could not get her to open the door. The Deputies checked other locations and after about 20 minutes noticed the female come out of the house looking for her child. The 35 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 8:05pm, charged with child endangerment, and transported to jail. The child was held for child protective services.

District 5 - Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)
On 9-29-08 Deputy Thompson responded to a burglary call in April Sound Subdivison. The complainant stated that sometime between 1000 hrs on 9-28-08 and 0930 hrs on 10-29-08 a known suspect entered her residence removed some female undergarments and left a decorative brick in her bath tub. The complainant could not advise if entry was forced or unforced to the residence. The case was forwarded to the Detective division for follow up.
On 10-1-08 Sgt. Welch responded to the 200 block of Linwood in reference to a criminal mischief call where someone was stealing electricity from Mid South/Synergy by installing a stolen electric meter into a residence. The stolen electric meter was recovered and suspect information was obtained. The case was forwarded to Detectives for follow up.
On 10-1-08 Deputy Wiesepape responded to the 3300 Block of Torrey Pines for a family violence call. Subsequently the suspect was arrested for family violence. While being booked in a small amount of marijuana was located on the suspect and he was charged with it also.
On 10-4-08 Deputy Howze responded to the 8100 block of White Oak Loop in reference to a burglary of a building call where approx. $1,100.00 worth of hand tools were stolen from an unsecured shed. A suspect has been identified and the case will be forwarded to Detective division for follow up.
On 10-4-08 Deputy Lennon responded to a theft call in the 12900 Block of Walden Rd. During the investigation a suspect was identified who had stolen a laptop computer from the complainant. The case was forwarded to detectives for follow up.
On 10-3-08 Deputy Wiesepape responded to the 200 block of N. Mccaleb Rd. in reference to a theft. It was reported that approx 450 gallons of unleaded gas was stolen from a storage tank there. No suspects have been identified at this time.
District 6 - Lt. David Dottei (South County)
On 10/01/08 at approximately 1530 hours, while working an extra job at the Woodlands Mall, Dep. Byer observed a WF17, walking in the Junior's Department of the department store. Dep. Byer recognized this person to be one that was issued a trespass warning in August. When confronted and asked what she was doing, she stated "shopping." Dep. Byer advised her she was in violation of the Trespass Warning and escorted her to the Mall Security Office. Once there, a copy of the original warning was provided and the District Attorney's Office was contacted. They accepted the charges and the subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On 10/02/08 at approximately 1259 hours, Dep. Varnell was dispatched to 9595 Six Pines in reference to a shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival Dep. Varnell met with an employee, who stated that the subject W/F 41, entered the store and picked up 10-12 items and took them into the fitting room. She tried on several items and even requested different sizes from the employee. After awhile she exited the dressing room and approached the counter. The employee noticed that there were items missing. He went back to the dressing room and found four hangers thrown under the bench. He then asked the subject about the missing items. She stated that she had placed them around the store. The employee saw that she had another bag with clothes in it with her and asked to see the contents. She showed him the items on top. He insisted on seeing the other items and at that time found the missing items. The employee also noticed an item in her purse, which turned out to be from another store. The employee contacted them and an employee from there came to identify the items. The second employee identified the subject as the person who came into her store this morning and tried on several items of clothing and jewelry. She stated the subject took several items into the dressing room, then exited with some of the items and made a purchase of $420. After the subject left the store, the employee went into the fitting room and found four empty hangers. She immediately suspected the subject but could not prove it. Approximately an hour to two hours later the employee from the first store called to say they had a shoplifter in custody that also had several items from her store. She went to that store and identified the four pieces of clothing and verified that they had not been purchased. Items taken were valued at $665. from the first store and $491. from the other. The subject was taken into custody for Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On 10/03/08 at approximately 1748 hours, Dep. Cano was dispatched to a business at 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival Dep. Cano met with the Loss Prevention officer who stated that the suspect, W/F 18 entered the jewelry department and selected several items without regard to price and walked into a fire exit hallway. When she returned, she did not have the items in her hand. The suspect passed several points of purchase without attempted to pay for the concealed merchandise and exited the store where she was then stopped by Loss Prevention officers and escorted back into the store and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $68.00. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.
On 10/03/08 at approximately 2115 hours, Dep. Weatherford was dispatched to a business at 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival Dep. Weatherford met with the Loss Prevention Officer who stated that he observed two male subjects select several shirts and enter a fitting room. When they exited the fitting room, they did not have any of the items with them, although one suspect B/M17, did have a shopping bag with him. A quick check of the fitting room was done and the shirts were not there either. The suspects passed several points of purchase without attempted to pay for the concealed merchandise and exited the store where they were then stopped by Loss Prevention officers and the suspect with the shopping bag was escorted back into the store and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $80.79. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.
