District 1 - Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)
On 6/23/08 Corporal Bonner was dispatched to a location in the city of Conroe to attempt to locate a runaway juvenile. This juvenile had been previously reported and recovered five (5) times. This juvenile was again located, recovered once more and transported to Juvenile Detention for holding, pending processing and screening.
On 6/24/08 at 11:15 P/M Deputy Degner was dispatched to a welfare check at the 10,000 block of Royal Cavins, in Conroe. On arrival, the Deputy could hear a female screaming and things being slammed around inside the residence. About that time a 45 year old female came running out of the house, naked from the waist up. Her husband, a 53 year old male was arrested and charged with Assault - Family Violence. This case is referred to Justice Court for disposition.
On 6/28/08 at approximately 2:15 A/M Deputy Peckne was patrolling in the area of Budde and Sawdust Road when several traffic violations were witnessed as a driver failed to signal and stop properly. A traffic stop was conducted where open alcoholic beverage containers were observed in the vehicle. A 19 year old male driver was suspected to be DWI. Several field sobriety evaluations were conducted on scene and several clues indicating intoxication were exhibited. This 19 year old male was arrested and transported to male booking with a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
On 6/29/08 at approximately 1:50 A/M Deputy Degner responded to a reported vehicle going the wrong way on Loop 336, east bound lane, near River Pointe Drive. A 29 year old male was arrested and charged with DWI - Class "A".
On 6/29/08 at approximately 11:20 P/M Deputy Degner also responded to a suspected DWI driver at 12,000 block of Walden Road, in Montgomery, when an 18 year old male had reportedly become stuck in the ditch when he attempted to enter an apartment complex from Walden Road. The 18 year old man was arrested for DWI and Possession of Marijuana. Both cases referred for Prosecution.
On 6/30/08 at 1:28 A/M Deputy Waxler was dispatched to the 13,000 block of Forest Trail, in Conroe, in reference to a Family Disturbance in Progress. A 44 year old male was arrested for assaulting two family members. This case is referred to Justice Court of disposition.
District 2 - Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)
On 06/20/2008, 0219, Deputy A. Swank was dispatched to 8000 SH 242 in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Reportee advised he observed passengers in a vehicle passing clear bags to each other. Deputy Swank made contact with two white females in the vehicle. After subjects exited the vehicle, the deputy observed two clear bags containing a powdery substance in the vehicle. Both bags tested positive for Cocaine and both subjects were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, F2.
On 6/26/2008, 1918, Sgt. J. Jenkins, Cpl. J. Russell and several other units were dispatched to the area of Research Forest between Alden Bridge and Cochran's Crossing in reference to a motor vehicle fleeing the scene of an accident. Sgt. Jenkins observed a white vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was stopped and driver exited and was observed to have unsteady balance and a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath. Field sobriety tests were performed and it was determined the driver, W/M, 52, was intoxicated. The driver agreed to a blood test, but when at the hospital he changed his mind. Cpl. Russell found a clear bag containing a white powdery substance in the center cup holder of suspect's vehicle. The substance tested positive to be Cocaine.
On 06/28/08, 1720, Deputies M. Uber and T. Ward were working stationary radar on Glen Loch Drive when a gray SUV was observed traveling 40 mph in a 25 mph speed zone. After stopping the vehicle, the driver was observed to have a strong odor of burned marijuana as she spoke. All occupants of the vehicle were patted down and a W/M, 23, was found to be in possession of several marijuana cigarettes. He was detained and later arrested for Possession of Marijuana. A purse was found in the vehicle with a glass case containing three baggie of marijuana. The driver, W/F, 20, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, M/B.
District 3 - Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)
On June 23, Deputy C. Evans observed a driver committing several traffic violations in the 21100 block of Hwy 59. The Deputy's vehicle was almost struck by the violator vehicle. The Deputy was able to stop the vehicle and observed the driver to be intoxicated. The 25 year old male from Redwood, CA, was arrested at 2:37am for DWI and transported to jail.
On June 23, Deputy C. Evans was sent to the 22900 block of Timber Oaks in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with the female complainant who advised her boyfriend had punched her on the nose. A prior call had been made on this assault, a report was made; however, the male suspect had left the location. The male returned and the Deputy placed him into custody. The 31 year old male from Porter was arrested at 10:16pm and taken to jail.
On June 23, Deputy S. Ortiz was dispatched to a suspicious person call in the 23400 block of Hwy 59. A male was seen in the parking lot of the apartment complex walking around hitting walls and vehicles. The male was located and found to be intoxicated. The 20 year old male from Porter was arrested at 10:20pm and transported to jail.
On June 24, Deputy R. Layman was notified of a theft call at the Wal-Mart in Porter. The Deputy met with the loss prevention officer who was detaining a female for shoplifting. The female had been seen concealing DVD movies in a purse. The female made a small purchase and left the store without paying for the movies. The theft amount was $219.56. The 35 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 12:52pm and transported to jail.
On June 24, Sgt. B. Welch stopped a suspicious vehicle in the 25900 block of FM 1485. Deputy C. Turrentine arrived to assist. During the investigation the Deputies recovered a baggy of marijuana. The 32 year old male and 33 year old female, both of New Caney, were arrested at 9:15pm and charged with possession. The male also had a public intoxication warrant and a failure to appear warrant out of Montgomery County. Both subjects were transported to jail.
On June 25, Deputy J. Walker and Corporal S. Spiller were sent to the 24500 block of Gilbert Drive for a disturbance call in the parking lot. A male and a female subject were found on location and both were intoxicated. The 20 year old male from Porter and the 18 year old female from Baytown, were arrested at 2:00am and transported to jail.
On June 25, Deputy J. Walker was dispatched to the 19100 block of FM 1485 for a welfare concern. The Deputy arrived and met with the female complainant who advised a male that she had been seeing was stalking her. He had gone from being a very friendly person to becoming more aggressive toward her. When she would awaken he would be at her home without her knowing he was coming over. He started following her around, wanting to know what she was doing and where she was going all the time. He began keeping a journal about her every move. Letters he wrote her indicated his aggressiveness and anger toward her. He would leave the letters on her windshield threatening her. The 37 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 5:05am and transported to jail.
On June 26, Corporal S. Spiller responded to the 20200 block of Hwy 59 in reference to a welfare concern. The Deputy arrived and located a female subject standing next to a vehicle. The female was found to be intoxicated. The 35 year old female from Houston was arrested at 2:54am and transported to jail.
On June 26, Deputy A. Cross was notified of a family violence assault call in the 21800 block of Grand Lancelot Drive. The Deputy met with a female complainant who stated her son had assaulted her. They had gotten into an argument and the son pushed her several times and started damaging the house. The 19 year old male from Kingwood was arrested at 6:03pm and transported to jail.
On June 26, Corporal S. Spiller and Sgt. B. Clendennen were sent to the 23200 block of Patricia Lane in reference to a disturbance in progress. The Deputies arrived and met with an intoxicated female. The Deputies also met with a male complainant who stated he had attempted to stop an argument with his step-father and mother over the daughter (intoxicated female). The complainant was struck several times on the head by the step-father. He was also thrown to the ground. The 50 year old male from New Caney and the 25 year old female from Splendora were arrested at 3:17am and taken to jail.
On June 27, Deputy G. Harman was notified of a family violence assault call in the 16200 block of Portman Road. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised he was assault by his uncle. The Deputy met with the male suspect who stated he had been assaulted by his nephew. The older male had a swollen lip and the Deputy found through the investigation that the uncle was truthful. The 17 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:26pm and taken to jail.
On June 28, Deputy C. Murray was dispatched to a burglary of a motor vehicle call. The Deputy was advised by the male complainant that he and a friend had caught two males burglarizing his vehicle. The males attempted to flee but were apprehended. The males admitted to burglarizing the vehicle. Their vehicle was found on the next street over and during an inventory numerous items such as radar detectors, GPS and other electrical devices were located inside. The two males, 18 and 19 years of age, from Kingwood and New Caney, respectively were arrested at 2:40am and transported to jail.
On June 28, Deputy J. Guion responded to a disturbance in progress in the 17200 block of Royal Coach. The Deputy arrived and located a male and his father-in-law, each of whom had been involved in the disturbance. The younger male was found to be highly intoxicated. The 28 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 9:45pm and transported to jail.
On June 29, Deputy C. Turrentine was sent to a welfare concern in the 17400 block of Spanish Oak. The Deputy arrived and met with two female witnesses. The females had gotten into an argument with another female at her house. The two females attempted to leave when the other female chased after them on foot carrying her one year old child. The female fell and the child's head struck the ground. The female then got up and attempted to jump on the hood of the vehicle. The 18 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 3:43pm for child endangerment and transported to jail. Child Protective Services was also notified.
On June 29, Corporal S. Spiller was dispatched to the 27300 block of Coachlight Lane in reference to a disturbance in progress. Deputy C. Evans was detaining a male when Corporal Spiller arrived. The Deputies met with the female complainant who advised she and her fiancé had gotten into a verbal argument when the male grabbed her by the arms and threw her to the ground. He threw a television which landed near her on the floor. The 41 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 11:33pm and transported to jail.
Warrants served:
A 47 year old female from Porter was arrested at 1:22pm, June 27, in the 19000 block of Timberland by Deputies J. Amstutz and C. Curry for two theft by check warrants out of Montgomery County. The Deputies had received prior information as to the location of the female. She was transported to jail.
A 41 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 12:01pm, June 29, in the 25900 block of FM 1485 East by Deputies C. Azwell and C. Curry for a grand theft auto warrant (failure to appear) out of Florida. The Deputies were investigating a disturbance call. She was taken to jail.
District 4 - Lt. Art Galloway (West County)
On 6/23/08 Deputy D. LaSalle and Deputy T.R. Slusher were dispatched to Kings View Ct. in Montgomery, TX I reference to burglary of a vehicle. Upon arrival they met with the complainant who stated the truck had been left unlocked and parked in the driveway overnight. In the morning at approximately 8:00 am it was discovered that a woman's purse and a man's wallet had been stolen from the truck. Estimated dollar amount of stolen items is $100. Case referred to detectives.
On 6/24/08 Deputy K. Krolczyk was dispatched to Edgewater Dr. in Magnolia in reference to theft of copper. When she arrived on location (a residence currently under construction) she met with the building supervisor who stated he found the wires cut at the exterior of the home along with the copper a/c lines cut. There was approximately $2,000 dollar loss in copper wiring. This case referred to detectives.
On 6/24/08 Deputy A. Sumrall was dispatched to Thousand Oaks Blvd, Magnolia on a theft call. When Deputy Sumrall arrived he met with the complainants who provided information for the report. The total estimated value of the stolen jewelry is $103,600. This case referred to detectives.
On 6/25/08 Deputy D. Birch was dispatched to Cripple Creek Dr. in reference to a report of theft. Upon arrival at the scene (three vacant residences located on 7 acres) Deputy Birch met with the complainant to obtain information for the report. The complainant is in the process of purchasing the property and comes over daily to check on it. When he arrived today he noticed that unknown suspects had damaged the A/C unit in two of the residences. They had also entered another residence and busted holes in the dry wall. In all, all three residences had extensive damage and copper wiring and tubing had been stolen. Estimated amount of loss is $11,500. This case is referred to detectives.
On 6/27/08 Deputy E. Diaz was dispatched to Aberdeen in reference to burglary of a habitation. When Deputy Diaz arrived on scene he met with the complainant who stated someone had broken into her residence and stolen currency, and miscellaneous jewelry. Total loss including the damaged back door was stated as $1,025. Case referred to detectives.
On 6/27/08 Deputy K. Krolczyk was dispatched to Towering Oaks Trail in reference to burglary of a vehicle. Upon arrival she met with the complainant who stated she had parked and locked her vehicle. Someone had stolen the face plate on the stereo ($250) and her Credit Card issued by Attorney General for child support. Case referred to detectives.
On 6/28/07 Deputy K. Krolczyk was dispatched to Kayla Lynn Ct. in reference to burglary of 2 motor vehicles. When she arrived on location she met with the complainant who stated the two vehicles were parked under a covered awning. Both vehicles were left unlocked and both had been burglarized. Estimated loss (from both vehicles) reported at $1,190. Case referred to detectives.
On 6/29/08 Deputy A. Sumrall was dispatched to Dobbin Huffsmith in reference to theft and criminal mischief. Upon arrival at the location Deputy Sumrall met with the complainant who provided information for the report. The location is the weekend house of the complainant who noticed he had no power when he arrived and went outside to check. Once outside he found the electrical meter had been broken and the wire coming from the top of the weather head was gone. The wires going from meter to breaker box had been cut but were still there. The cost to replace is estimated at $800. Case referred to detectives.
On 6/30/08 Cpl. F. Webb was dispatched to Del Rio Trail West, Pinehurst, in reference to criminal mischief. When Cpl. Webb arrived on location she met with the complainant who reported he had stopped to look at an accident that had occurred. At the time he had stopped neither law enforcement officials nor EMS had arrived at the scene. Within a few seconds of the complainant stopping he was confronted by another male at the scene who jumped out of his vehicle and started yelling. Unknown male suspect approached the complainant (still sitting in his vehicle) jumped on the hood of the car, walked around (denting it) then jumped on the windshield and broke it (on the passenger's side. The complainant then hit the gas pedal. The unknown suspect went over the top of the vehicle and went off the back, leaving damages to the roof and trunk of the vehicle. As the complainant was leaving the location as EMS was just arriving. The estimated cost to repair the vehicle is $3,300. This case referred to detectives.
On 6/30/08 Deputy T.R. Slusher was dispatched to FM 1488 in reference to the theft of a travel trailer. When Deputy Slusher arrived on scene he met with the complainant who said someone had stolen his travel trailer, which he lives in. while he was in Abilene for a couple of days. The value of the 2008 Aspen travel trailer is $28,000. This case referred to the auto theft task force.
District 5 - Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)
June 23, 2008 @ 10:38 am. Deputy Krolczyk responded to a Recovery of Stolen property call in the 12200 block of Browning Drive. The reportee said he found a bicycle in the woods behind his home. The bicycle was recovered and the owner of the stolen bicycle, which was reported earlier, came to the District Five Office and identified the bicycle. Case closed.
June 23, 2008 @ 1:52 pm. Deputy Jackson responded to a Terroristic Threat (Family Violence) call in the 25900 block of Ella Brown Road. The complainant said he and his son got into an argument over scrap metal. The son got an axe and tried to break the lock off of a storage shed where the scrape metal was located. The son threatened the complainant, who is eighty one years old. The suspect was arrested and placed in the Montgomery County Jail. Bond was set at $750.
June 28, 2008 @ 12:24 am. Deputy Lowe responded to an Assault (Family Violence) call in the 12900 block of Walden Road. The two suspects said they got into an argument and the male suspect hit the female suspect on the side of her face.. The female then retrieved a knife and cut the males hand. The ADA accepted charges on both suspects. The suspects were placed in the Montgomery County Jail. Bond was set at $1,500 on each.
June 28, 2008 @ 2:25 am. Deputy Farmer conducted a traffic stop in the 18100 block of Hwy. 105 West. The driver of the vehicle was intoxicated. The driver (suspect) failed all Standard Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest for D.W.I. The suspect was placed in the Montgomery County Jail. Bond was set at $600.
District 6 - Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)
During the week of 06/25/2008 and 06/30/2008, Town Center deputies arrested ten suspects for Shoplifting/Theft.
On 06/23/08, 2248, Deputy C. Parks was dispatched to the 1100 Lake Woodlands in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival, Deputy C. Parks observed the suspicious vehicle and began a field interview of the occupants. The passenger, W/M, 26, was identified and confirmed he had several warrants out of Montgomery County. He was placed into custody.
