District 1 - Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)
On 11/11/08 Corporal Bonner was dispatched to the 13,300 block of FM 2432, in Willis reference to a Burglary of a Habitation. The resident advised when he returned to his home, someone had entered and stolen a Play Station Systems and a shotgun. This report has been referred to the Detective Division.
On 11/12/08 Corporal Smith was dispatched to the 12,600 block of Maxwell, in Willis, in reference to a Burglary of a Habitation. The owner said he had found several items missing from his garage. (His garage bay door had been damaged during Hurricane Ike and is stuck in the open position) Approximately $700 in property was stolen and the homeowner does want to press charges.
On 11/13/08 Deputy Glisson was dispatched to Seay Court, in Conroe, in reference to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. The complainant advised his vehicle broke down on FM 1485, just west of SH 59. He walked to an auto parts store and when he returned he had discovered someone had entered and stolen his property; radio, medicine, tools and a handicap sticker. This case has been referred to the Detective Division.
On 11/15/08 while on patrol, Deputy Degner made a traffic stop due to speeding. Upon interviewing the driver, Deputy Degner noticed signs of intoxication. The driver was given multiple tasks to perform, but failed. Deputy Degner had the vehicle towed and took the gentleman to jail. Once at the jail, it was found that the gentleman had two previous DWI arrests. He was charged with a Felony DWI.
On 11/16/08, around midnight, Sergeant Rogers heard Conroe Police dispatch a "Be on the Look Out" for a possible drunk driver, the vehicle description and area. Their dispatch had received two calls from concerned motorists. He located the vehicle on FM 1484 near Lake Rollingwood and while witnessing the erratic movements of the vehicle, he began to catch up to the vehicle. After activating emergency lights and siren, the actor failed to stop. Approximately ¼ miles later, the actor pulled into a driveway off Lakeshore Drive and stopped. After conducting sobriety tasks, which he failed, Sergeant Rogers arrested the individual for DWI.
District 2 - Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)
On 11/07/2008 at 1345 hours, Dep. Wakefield was on patrol in the 17000 block of I-45 when he observed a vehicle swerve several times and almost hit several other vehicles. He conducted a traffic stop at that time. The driver (WM35) stated that he had not been drinking, but was taking prescription medication. Dep. Wakefield administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Test for Horizontal Gauge Nystagmus and the driver was unable to pass the test. He was then taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated with a child passenger. Dep. Wakefield then checked the passenger (WF36) of the vehicle and determined that she had an outstanding warrant for Theft by Check and was also taken into custody. Another family member was called to take custody of the child. The driver and passenger were both transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On 11/09/2008 at 1350 hours, Dep. Cano conducted a traffic stop on the northbound feeder road. The vehicle did not immediately pull over and the deputy noticed the driver reaching over the front seat. When the vehicle did finally did pull over. During the course of his investigation, Dep. Cano found several pills in a prescription bottle. One pill in the bottle was different from the others. A check with Poison Control determined the pill to be Adderall. The driver was then taken into custody for Possession of Dangerous Drug and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.
On 11/12/2008 at 1905 hours Dep. Knight was dispatched to the Windsor Hills area in reference to an accident. Dep. Knight met with the homeowner who stated that she heard what sounded like an explosion in her front yard. When she went to check, she saw a vehicle in her yard up against one of her trees. She went to check on the driver (WF44). When Dep. Knight met with the driver, he conducted Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. The driver was taken into custody for DWI and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On 11/14/08 at approximately 0640 hours, Dep. Corn was dispatched to the 16500 block of I-45 in regards to a welfare check of a driver who hit the center retainer wall of the highway. Upon making contact with the driver (WM25), Dep. Corn observed his balance to be unsteady and could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath. The driver was taken into custody for DWI and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
District 3 - Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)
On November 10, Deputy J. Amstutz stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the19600 block of FM 1485. The vehicle was occupied by a male and female. The Deputy, during the investigation, received consent to search the vehicle and discovered a baggy of marijuana. The 32 year old female from Porter was arrested at 8:45am and charged with possession of marijuana. The 36 year old male, also from Porter, was arrested for a criminal mischief warrant out of Montgomery County. Both subjects were taken to jail.
On November 12, Corporal W. Kendrick was dispatched to the 20100 block of Hwy 59 in reference to a welfare concern. EMS was on scene checking a male that was passed out in a vehicle. An intoxicated female was also on scene trying to leave. A hydrocodone pill was found on the female. The 33 year old female from Splendora was arrested at 4:29pm and charged with public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance. Deputies R. Layman and C. Turrentine arrived on scene. The male refused to exit the vehicle when told he was under arrest. An intermediate weapon was deployed and the male exited the vehicle. The 29 year old male, also from Splendora, was arrested and charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest. Both subjects were taken to jail.
On November 12, Deputy R. Ashmore was sent to the 23700 block of Hwy 59 in reference to a vehicle accident. On arrival the Deputy met with a male who advised he struck another vehicle as he pulled into a parking lot. The male was observed to be intoxicated. The 29 year old male from Porter was arrested at 10:13pm, charged with DWI, and transported to jail.
On November 12, Deputy J. Guion responded to the Wal-Mart in Porter in reference to a theft. The Deputy met with the loss prevention officer who had chased a male that had taken items and left the store without paying for them. The Deputy located the male's female companion and then spoke to the male on the phone. The male returned and was placed into custody. The 27 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 11:21pm and transported to jail.
On November 13, Deputy C. Murray was notified of a welfare concern in the 20000 block of Hwy 59. The Deputy observed an intoxicated male standing near his vehicle which had damage to the front and rear wheels both of which were flat. After the investigation the 21 year old male driver from Porter was arrested at 5:40am, charged with DWI, and transported to jail.
On November 13, Deputy J. Chapa was sent to the 22500 block of Ford Road in reference to a trespasser. The Deputy arrived and located a male that gave a false name to the Deputy as later learned. The male was allowed to leave and later returned and identified by his true name. The 18 year old male, no known address, was arrested at 4:30pm and taken to jail for failure to identify.
On November 14, Corporal S. Spiller was dispatched to the 20800 block of Idle Glen Roadway for a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she had been assaulted by her female roommate. The complainant said her roommate hit her several times on the head with a closed fist. The 20 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 2:45am, charged with assault, and also a fraudulent use of identifying information warrant and two forgery warrants, all out of Montgomery County. She was transported to jail.
On November 15, Deputy J. Chapa observed a traffic violation in the area of Deerwood Drive and Spanish Oaks. The Deputy attempted to stop the vehicle and the vehicle proceeded on with the driver refusing to stop. The vehicle was finally stopped in the area of Deerwood and Holly Glen. The 26 year old male driver from Houston was arrested at 7:00pm, charged with evading, and the 23 year old male passenger, also from Houston, was arrested for public intoxication. Both subjects were transported to jail.
On November 15, Deputy A. White observed a possible intoxicated driver in the 23500 block of Hwy 59. The Deputy noticed several traffic violations and finally was able to stop the vehicle. The 50 year old male from Porter was arrested at 9:08pm, charged with DWI, and transported to jail.
On November 15, Deputy R. Ashmore was dispatched to a welfare concern in reference to an intoxicated female driver in the 20100 block of FM 1314. The female had nearly hit another vehicle head on. The driver of the other vehicle was an off duty police officer. The 31 year old female from Pearland was arrested at 11:45pm, charged with DWI, and taken to jail.
On November 16, Deputy G. Harman stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of Loop 494 and Mitchell Lane. During the investigation the Deputy found that the female was operating the vehicle without insurance and had a suspended driver license. The 36 year old female from New Caney was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance and a dangerous drug. She was also charged with a Roman Forest PD warrant. She was taken to jail.

A 25 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 6:27pm, November 10, in the area of Loop 494 and Community Drive by Deputy A. Cross for a theft of property warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a noise disturbance. The male was transported to jail.
A 46 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 7:29pm, November 13, in the 15400 block of Towerwood Drive by Deputy S. Ortiz for a possession of controlled substance bond forfeiture warrant out of Montgomery County. The female was on the fugitive warrant list. She was taken to jail.
A 43 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 10:32am, November 14, in the 26600 block of Peach Creek Drive by Deputy J. Amstutz for a bond forfeiture-murder warrant out of Montgomery County. The male was on the fugitive warrant list. The male was transported to jail.
District 4 - Lt. Art Galloway (West County)
On 11/11/08 Deputy T. Messina was dispatched to a burglary call at Hidden Cove, Magnolia TX. When he arrived at the location he met with the complainant who advised that sometime between September 1st and 15th of 2008 one of her tenants living on Ivy Ct. in Magnolia stole all of the appliances out of her travel trailer that was parked and stored at the Ivy Ct. location. The items stolen were a Fleetwood top mount A/C unit ($1,000), a Fleetwood Stove/Oven ($400), a Fleetwood toilet ($100), a Kenmore refrigerator ($800) and a Magic Chef microwave ($100). The case was referred to CID-Detectives.
On 11/11/08 Deputy Ormond and his partner Deputy Kerr were dispatched to Lake Circle in regards to a theft call. Upon their arrival deputy Ormond met with the complainant who stated that the suspect took tools from the front bedroom of a single wide mobile home located on Fawn Lane. The stolen items consisted of a nail gun ($125), a compressor ($129.00), a control sprayer ($69), a Freud jigsaw ($90), a hose shaft ($23.00), compressor fittings ($16), and saw blades ($12). This case referred to CID-Detectives.
On 11/11/08 Deputy T. Slusher was dispatched to Nichols Sawmill Rd. in reference to the theft of an ATV and burglary of a building. Upon his arrival at the scene (a white metal workshop behind the residence) he met with the complainant who provided information for the report. The items stolen consisted of a 2000 Kawasaki ATV ($7,500.00), a Craftsman battery charger ($225), a torque wrench ($125), a Milwaukee impact gun ($385), a Stihl chain saw ($350), a Craftsman tool set containing miscellaneous hand tools ($300). This case was referred to CID-Auto Theft Task Force and CID-Detectives.
On 11/11/08 Deputy H. Suarez was dispatched to S. Hall Dr. in reference to the burglary of a habitation. Upon his arrival he met with the complainant who stated he was at work all day, but when his son arrived at home (from school) he discovered the rear door of the house had been kicked in. The complainant returned to the home and conducted a visible inspection of the residence and discovered several firearms, and 2 pieces of jewelry missing. Value of the stolen items estimated at $5,400 plus $100 for the damaged door frame. This case referred to CID-detectives.
On 11/13/08 Cpl. F. Webb was dispatched to Butera in reference to burglary of a building. Upon her arrival at the location she met with the complainant who stated when he went to his shed on 11-13-08 to get something he noticed that his Stihl chainsaw was missing. The saw is valued at $380. This case referred to CID-detectives.
On 11/13/08 Deputy Ormond was dispatched to Pipestem Drive for a burglary of a motor vehicle report. Upon his arrival he met with the complainant who stated some unknown person had entered his parked vehicle and stolen a black Dell laptop computer (owned by his company) $3,500, a black & gray computer bag $30.00, a prescription bottle w/medication $30.00. Two knives valued at $50 were stolen from a second parked vehicle. This case referred to CID-Detectives.
On 11/13/08 Deputy J. Herman was dispatched to Sonoma Valley Dr in reference to burglary of a habitation. When he arrived on location he met with the complainant and obtained information for the report. The home just went to closing on 11/7/08, so no one lived at the residence. Three large appliances were stolen valued at $3,500, two chandeliers were stolen valued at $800, one bathroom light fixture was stolen valued at $400 and a second bathroom light fixture valued at $200 was stolen. This case referred to CID-Detectives.
On 11/14/08 Deputy Crandell and Sgt. W. Hammons were dispatched to Wright Rd, Pinehurst in reference to an alarm call. When they arrived they found several businesses had been broken into. The landlord for the listed location made the scene and advised that he would be fixing the broken window ($125) to the business. Pictures of the scene and a screwdriver were collected and submitted to the MCSO Crime Lab. This case referred to CID-Detectives.
On 11/14/08 Deputy Crandell and Sgt. W. Hammons while on location for the alarm call at the Wright Rd. took a second report from a complainant (business owner) whose building was also broken into. A pistol ($500) was stolen, an electronic cash register ($300) was stolen, and $20 in change was stolen. A glass window ($125) was broken. The window will be replaced by the landlord of the building.
On 11/15/08 Deputy K. Williams was dispatched to Denton St. for a burglary of a habitation report. Upon his arrival he met with the complainant who provided information for the report. The complainant stated an unknown person had entered the residence and stolen a Samsung digital camera ($140) and $160 in cash. This case referred to CID-Detectives.
On 11/15/08 Deputy Ormond was dispatched to Pinedale Circle for a burglary of a vehicle report. Upon his arrival he met with the complainant who stated he parked an Int'l tractor-truck in the dirt median at Pinedale Circle and Highway 249 at about 1:00 a.m. 11/15/08. When he returned to the truck at 8:45 a.m. he discovered the driver side door window was broken the right side of the windshield broken. When the complainant checked inside he discovered that several items had been taken. The items included a Sony video cameral ($278), approximately $250 in assorted coins, and a personal checking account check book valued at $36. This case referred to CID-Detectives.
On 11/16/08 Deputy Krolczyk was dispatched to Royal Navigator Dr. in reference to burglary of a building. Upon her arrival she met with the complainant who advised someone had entered his detached garage and stolen several items. A Yamaha blue/white motorcycle ($2,000) was stolen and several pieces of equipment/tools valued at $1,075. This case referred to CID-Auto Theft Task Force and CID-Detectives.
On 11/17/08 Deputy Krolczyk was dispatched to Medina Circle in reference to the theft of a Honda TRX 45R ATV valued at $3,000. The complainant provided the information necessary for the report. The case was referred to CID-Auto Theft Task Force.
On 11/17/08 Deputy A. Gonzalez met with a complainant in the District 4 field office to take a report in reference to the burglary of a building. A Yamaha blue/white MC dirt bike had been placed in his detached garage on 11/10/08 in preparation for being sold. On 11/15/08 the complainant went to the garage and noticed the Yamaha ($1,500) had been stolen. Nothing else had been removed from the garage. This case referred to CID-Auto Theft Task Force and CID-Detectives.
On 11/17/08 Deputy Krolczyk was dispatched to Hickory Ln. in reference to burglary of a building and theft of copper wire. Upon her arrival at the location she met with the complainant who advised the shed had been broken into (lock $5) and two tool boxes containing miscellaneous tools valued at $3,000 had been stolen. Copper wiring ($25) was pulled from an electrical box. This case referred to CID-Detectives.
District 5 - Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)
On 11-10-08 Deputy Favorat responded to 100 block of East Park in reference to an assault. The case was forwarded to Detectives for follow up.
On 11-10-08 Deputy Neeley responded to the 16500 block of F.M. 2854 in reference to a theft call. Several items were stolen from a utility plant including approx. 100 gallons of Diesel fuel. No suspect was identified and the case was forwarded to Detectives.
On 11-14-08 Deputy Howze responded to the 15700 block of Hickory in reference to a burglary of a residence. The burglary occurred sometime in March 2008 and forced entry was used. The case was forwarded to Detectives for follow up.
On 11-16-08 Deputy Jackson responded to the 15500 block of Milton Whatley Dr. In reference to a disturbance call. During the investigation it was determined that multiple charges would be filed including Injury to a Disabled Person (F2)/and 2 counts of M-A assault.
On 11-12-08 Deputy Jordan responded to the 100 block of Fairwater Dr in reference to a credit card abuse case. No suspect has been identified at this time. The case was forwarded to Detectives for follow up.
District 6 - Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)
On 11/16/2008 at approximately 2215 hours, Dep. Koth was dispatched to a business at 3040 College Park Dr. in reference to a Theft of Money by a cashier employee. Upon arrival he met with the Asset Protection Coordinator (APC). The APC stated that since 11/3/08 there had been a string of shortages involving cash. After researching electronic journals and closed circuit TV it was determined that a cashier was responsible for the shortages. The total missing to this point was $2600.10. The APC concluded the investigation and terminated the employment of the cashier. The cashier in question was on duty this night and upon being confronted with the evidence admitted to taking the cash and returned $300 to the APC that she had on her person. The subject was taken into custody, charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On 11/14/08 at 2205 Dep. Rawley was dispatched to a business at 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival he met with the Loss Prevention Officer (LPO). The LPO stated that on this date, they observed the subject (WF17) place numerous items in her purse. The suspect passed several points of purchase without attempting to pay for the concealed merchandise and exited the store where she was then stopped by Loss Prevention officers and escorted back into the store and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $135.50. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.
On 11/14/08 at 2044 hours, Dep. Weatherford was dispatched to a business at 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival he met with the Loss Prevention Officer (LPO). The LPO stated that on this date, they observed the subject (WF14) carrying a large gray purse that appeared to have very little in it. The suspect selected three gold necklaces without regards to price and concealed them in the palm of her hand. The suspect passed several points of purchase without attempting to pay for the concealed merchandise and exited the store where she was then stopped by Loss Prevention officers and escorted back into the store and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $105. The suspect was released to a parent.
On 11/14/08 at 1112 hours Dep. Rizk was dispatched to a business at 3040 College Park Dr. in reference to a shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival he met with the Asset Protection Coordinator (APC). The APC stated that on this date, they observed the subject (WF46) enter the store and select several grocery items. The suspect passed several points of purchase without attempting to pay for the merchandise and exited the store where she was then stopped by Loss Prevention officers and escorted back into the store and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $125.71. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.
On 11/15/08 at approximately 1340 hours Dep. Godden checked by with Dep. Houstoun on a traffic stop on Lake Woodlands. Due to the driver not having a driver's license or insurance the vehicle was being inventoried prior to being towed. During the inventory, a wallet was discovered with a permanent resident card and a social security card. The driver (WM22) admitted to using the card to gain employment. Dep. Godden contacted the District Attorney's Office with the information and they accepted charges of Tampering with a Government Record. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
