What is the Purpose of this Site?

The goal of this site is to encourage and facilitate the free flow of public information to the citizens of Montgomery County, Texas by gathering and publishing public information as well as by recruiting and teaching volunteers how to gain access to public information. The Texas Public Information Act is a strong tool that gives regular citizens the ability to gain access to a wealth of information about public officials as well as expenditures of public funds. Montgomery County, TX citizens monitoring the actions of local government will encourage and promote accountability.

We Want Your Photos and Videos

An additional and equally important goal is to encourage individuals to register and create their own User Albums in the Gallery. We encourage our visitors to upload pictures as well as videos of emergency scenes and other newsworthy events from the Montgomery County area. We would especially like to extend an invitation for fire, EMS and police in the area to participate in this program.
